New Eva video

Everyone,
Check out the Levesque video channel link found on our main page. Eric took some video of Eva dancing a few weeks ago. She was being so cute. The video title is "Eva Brielle is such a little dancer". Eva & I are going to MN tomorrow. Yeah!

Tribute to Jolie

Everyone,
It is with sad news that I tell you that our cat "Jolie" passed away on Friday night. She was about 3 yrs. old. We let Jolie go outside all of the time because she would always come back when we called for her. She loved playing in the fields behind our townhome. Anyway, Eric & I were watching a movie Friday night & Jolie was outside. We have let her out at night numerous times (which in hindsight, I really don't think it was the best idea). Jolie had her claws, so she could defend herself. Well, I was getting concerned that Jolie was too far away because she didn't come when I called for her. Eric & I decided that she was probably having a lot of fun, so we continued to watch the movie. Well, I just couldn't settle & asked if Eric would go look for her. Eric found Jolie within 30 ft. of our townhome in the fields. She looked like she fought with something, but she didn't have any of her blood on her. We don't know how she died. But, she was a wonderful cat & we will all miss her very much. She was my favorite cat of all time.

Jolie just relaxing. We will miss you!!

Countdown

Hi everyone,
I can start the countdown on a couple of things...first, Eva & I are coming to MN from April 21st-29th. Yeah!! This is much sooner than I previously thought we'd visit. Also, another countdown is for my GRE (Graduate Records Exam) test. Oh..the joys of studying geometry & analogies again. It will soon be over on April 30th. I have everything else turned in to UCCS to start graduate school. Some of you may already know that I plan to get my MBA with a concentration in Finance. This should hopefully open some more doors for my career path. It can't hurt especially when UCCS pays for 9 credit hrs. per year for full-time employees (I'm 75%, so I get a little less). However, family is always top priority. Anyway, Eric & I may enjoy one or two more weekends up in the mtns. for ski season. Here are some recent pics taken of Eva. My camera is never far with her around.

Look at those fish! (or"shhshh" as Eva would say)

Eva spots a fish. Look at her point.

The bigger, the better..

Eva loves the teeter totter. She's so happy.

A little focus & a smile.

Eva's new chair

Everyone,
I just bought a Disney princess chair for Eva. I thought that she would like her own little chair rather than having to climb up on the rocking chair all of the time. She seems to like it. I took some cute pictures. Enjoy!

Peek-a-boo

I'm ready to just lay down somewhere & relax with bunny and my blanket. 4-4-08

This new chair is pretty cool. I like pulling the velcro off my shoes too. 4-4-08

And this piece goes...

Is it my nap time?

Weekend in Vail

Hi everyone,
Well, I just haven't had the time to update my blog recently. Here's the latest though..Our family went to Vail last weekend to spend time with friends & go skiing. We had a blast!! I actually skiied pretty well considering my injury. I'm glad that I've rested for as long as I have. We rented a condo in Vail. It was a really nice set-up because it was a tri-level. So, everybody had privacy when needed (VERY good when you bring babies). We'll keep it in mind for next time. I just wish that I took more pictures. The only pics that I took that weekend were of Eva & Cora below. On Saturday night, we went to one of our friend's uncles Vail mansion. My jaw was dropped the entire time we got a tour of the house. EVERYTHING was custom. And, it wasn't even their primary residence. To give you an example..behind the oven was a granite backdrop carved in the shape of mtns. & their was a little skier figurine. Anyway, we all got to relax in their hot tub & had a really nice dinner. We came up with a couple that have a little girl, Cora. She's about a month younger than Eva. The two girls had their moments of getting along & fighting. But, for the most part, they got better as they got used to each other.
I'm not sure what we are going to do this weekend. But, skiing season is almost over, so I'm sure we'll be headed up that way if we can find a place to stay. In other news..I'm going to take my GRE on April 30th (I can't wait until that's over with). Also, Eva & I are coming to MN from April 21st-29th..Yeah! Enjoy the rest of your week & these pictures.

Where did the bubbles go? 3-26-08

Of course I'll pose for a picture. But, keep those bubbles coming my way! 3-26-08

I'm going to pop this bubble! 3-26-08

The dance-off begins at Vail mansion between Cora & Eva (both about 1 month apart)

Eva's got her groove on..Cora's taking a quick break. How cute! 3-29-08
