Hey everyone,
I didn't realize how long it's been since my last blog post! I guess our family has been really busy. I was in Minnesota with Eva from April 21st - 29th. I then took the GRE (which was pretty intensive 4 hr. long test) & adopted a kitty we named "Misha". I didn't plan on adopting a kitten so soon after we lost ours. However, I was browsing the humane societies website while in MN & just loved how sweet "Misha" looked. She is about 10 months old. One of my friend's is watching her while we are in Mesquite. She got pretty sick at the humane society & wasn't eating before I left. I took her to the Vet & she had to stay there for 2 nights while they dosed her with antibiotics & fluids. She is doing better now (the humane society has an insurance policy for the 1st month of ownership - however I'll be interested to see how much this policy actually covers..but I definately think she wouldn't have survived had she not been brought in before we left).
Now, my family is in Mesquite Nevada until May 17th. We are having a really awesome time just relaxing at my parent's condo & hanging out at the pool. I'm so thankful! We plan on driving to Vegas this upcoming Tuesday & staying the night at Red Rocks Hotel. We will then drive back to Mesquite & spend the night Wednesday. We are planning on heading back a little early to visit and camp at Zion National Park. Eva's just the traveling girl! Here are a few pictures that we took recently at the pool. Enjoy! I plan on updating the blog weekly once we return from our trip. By the way...Eva will be 21 months old on the 14th already.

Eva just climbed on mom's back. She wanted to get a tan too. Mom really needs one..

Eva & papa by the pool. She needs to protect those pretty blue eyes.

We have been lucky enough to enjoy the pool vertually all to ourselves while in Mesquite. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous & perfect for hanging out by the pool.

Doesn't Eva look like she's having fun?

Looking through sunglasses is pretty new to me..Don't I look cool?
